Cedar Mill Campout
Calling all campers! Cedar Mill Campout (Formerly known as Family Camp) is changing this year to a DIY year. Everyone who wants to camp will be making their own reservations to camp at Nehalem Bay State Park for August 13-18.

We place a high value on the young adults in our church and want to create a space for connection with one another and a place to grow in your relationship with the Lord.
Starting in February, we will be meeting every 1st and 3rd Monday. If you are between the ages of 18-30, please come join us at 7 PM in the Chapel!

Ambassador's Luncheon
Our Ambassadors Ministry of adults 55+ is focused on Becoming Like Jesus & Making Him Known. We are a community of friends who gather to be encouraged, worship, share a meal, and grow.
Join us every third Thursday at 12 PM in the Chapel for our Luncheon. Features guest speakers, music, and prayer!

YOUTH
THE NEXT GENERATION OF WORLD CHANGERS FOR CHRIST ARE IN OUR MIDST.
Cedar Mill Youth is a family away from family. We strive to create an environment in which students are both encouraged and mobilized to practice their faith in real ways. Because we believe that students are the next generation of world changers for Jesus, we provide a variety of opportunities for students to learn, serve, grow in community, and share their faith with others.
We meet in the church Lobby on Wednesday nights for worship and teaching! Middle and high school meet together from 6:30-8:30 PM.
The Jesus Table
Cedar Mill Bible Church hosts a free meal with a touch of community every Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 PM in the Gym. It’s open to anyone in our area who needs a hot meal.
Re/Engage
Whether your marriage needs a little boost, to be reignited, or resurrected, Re/Engage provides a safe place for you to reconnect with your spouse. Re/Engage runs for 13 weeks starting on Sunday, January 7th, and is led by John and Becky Hamilton. The class format will include:
Teaching time.
Testimonies.
Discussion in small groups with facilitator couples.
Weekly homework/exercises with your spouse.
KIDS OPEN Gym
If your kiddos aged 0-5 years need to get some wiggles out, and you would love some time with other parents, this time is for you! Invite your fellow parents of preschoolers to come with their little ones too!
*Note, this is not a drop-off event, and you will still be responsible for the care of your own child.

Hey there! Do you have young kids, or are you in the 30-45 age range? Either way, we'd love for you to join us for a fun evening filled with games, pizza, and the chance to make new friends. Please sign up by January 10th. We can't wait to see you there!

Join us as we seek God, connect with one another, and soak up the winter vibes. It won't be the same without you!
Ash Wednesday Experience
Ash Wednesday is where we reflect on our mortality and humanity to begin the Lenten season. This year will look a little different than years past. We will have an open-house interactive experience throughout the Lobby and Worship Center where you can thoughtfully engage with the life of Jesus. Each station will be centered around what it means to be loved by God and Jesus' 40 days in the desert, which is the foundation for Lent.
Doors open at 5 PM, feel free to come and go as you please. We hope you'll join us on Wednesday, February 14th.
Men's Breakfast
When discussing habits, we usually focus on something negative- a bad habit. Ending bad habits, whether addictions or simply annoying traits, is an important part of life. But we also need to give some thought to starting good habits. These can include anything from developing a deeper prayer life, eating well, and learning to be a good listener.
So, guys, invite your friends, dads, or sons to our next Men's Breakfast as Dr. Ryan Hosley joins us to discuss curbing bad habits and starting good ones. Dr. Hosley is a committed follower of Christ and a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of addictive/compulsive disorders and their root causes.

Age 45-65 and new to Cedar Mill? Or just want to get to know other people here? Then this gathering is for you!
We are getting together on Sunday, January 28, 5:00-7:00 PM in the Chapel for an evening of fun, games, pizza, and time to make new friends. We'll also have an opportunity to sign up for new small groups for those who are interested.
Register by January 26 so we know how much food to bring. We look forward to seeing you then!
Women's 4-Week "In the Word" Study
Do you desire encouragement and refreshment from the many things that distract us from spending time with God? Are you looking for community and seeking connection? This is an invitation to make more room for Jesus in your everyday life, and set aside 4 weeks to dig into God's Word with other women in our church family!
Reading plans will be handed out at our first gathering on January 9th. Come join other women looking to prioritize Jesus and spend time in His word this new year.

Cedar Mill Preschool Open House
Cedar Mill Preschool endeavors to lay a strong foundation for life-long learners who are compassionate, responsible, and confident.
We are having an Open House for the 2024-2025 preschool year on Thursday, Jan 11th, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. This is a great opportunity to tour our campus and learn more about Cedar Mill Preschool!

Women's Crafts, Cookies, & Connection
Ladies, take a breather from the bustle of the holiday season! We will gather on Saturday, December 9th, from 6:30-8:30 PM in CMK 1 for an evening of refreshment and connection.
Hot tea & coffee will be provided; you bring a dessert and a project you enjoy - some additional craft supplies and ideas will also be available. Invite a friend; we look forward to seeing you there!
Men's Practicing the Presence of God Retreat
The Apostle Paul repeatedly counseled the churches that he planted and later wrote to with admonitions to pray … a lot: Thessalonians "Pray without ceasing" Romans "Be constant in prayer" Ephesians "Pray in the Spirit at all times" Colossians "Continue steadfastly in prayer" Philippians "In everything by prayer and supplication … let your requests be made known to God."
Richard Foster observes that there is a "desperate need for unceasing prayer" in our present-day culture as we go through our endless activities "with scattered minds and noisy hearts." He then suggests that unceasing prayer speaks peace to the chaos. By doing so, "Our fractured and fragmented activities (find) a new center of reference and we experience peace, stillness, and serenity."

Trunk or Treat
Outreach and KIDS are teaming up to host a Trunk or Treat for our church and the local community on Sunday, October 29th, from 1-3 PM! Invite some neighbors and join us for candy, fun, and games.
We are looking for trunks with decorations, as elaborate or simple as you would like (though a very sought-after prize will go to the best trunk). This is a fun first step for people to interact with our community and a way to be the family of families that we long to be.

Women’s Fall Retreat
As a women's ministry, we have been prayerfully seeking God's heart for our women and have sensed Him placing the theme of Connection on our hearts. This Fall, we invite you to join us and our guest speaker Ushirika Johnson as we learn more about connecting with ourselves, one another, and the Lord at our Women's Retreat. We hope to see you there!

UNITE Youth
All Middle School and High School students are invited to attend for an opportunity to worship, pray over our schools, and network with one another for the sake of starting Jesus movements on our campuses.
