“To Whom Shall We Go?”

⁶⁶ From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.

⁶⁷ “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve.

⁶⁸ Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. ⁶⁹ We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.”

“…to whom shall we go?”

Peter had it right!

He declared: the FUTILITY of GOING away…

“...to whom shall we go?”

and.... - the REASONS for STAYING with Jesus

“You have the words of eternal life.”

“We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.”

For the next 11 weeks – we will “go again” to Jesus Christ

and look carefully at primary characteristics of His life.

The Compelling Character of Christ

He truly is “the living bread that came down from heaven.”

“If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.”
