Ministry to, with, and through adults for spiritual growth, fellowship, outreach to the unsaved and service so God’s love and power will Connecting MinistriesOccurring in an informal family setting, these ministries are created to enable people to connect with each other. They provide activities for friendships while inviting family and friends who do not know the Lord into a Christian environment. Examples are red hat groups, knitting groups, quilting groups, game nights, Christmas programs, etc. Equipping MinistriesThese ministries are designed to promote spiritual growth through God’s word. By introducing Christ through shared experiences, they make a difference in others lives. They connect others through fellowship and impact the next generation by example. Examples: small groups, Beth Moore study, and Grandma’s In-Touch. Outreach OpportunitiesWe provide opportunities for our church to connect intergenerationally within our church, and with other churches in our community. We accomplish this, in part, by reaching out to care facilities through musical presentations and our testimonies. We strive to bridge the age barrier by validation of worth and acceptance while glorifying God through our lives. Examples: Jubilee Choir, and intergenerational activities. NewsletterThis monthly publication is designed to keep the Ambassadors group informed and connected. It contains information on upcoming luncheons, past and future tours, events and ministries within the church, next months birthdays, and family news. Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to be added to the mailing list. LuncheonsEvery third Thursday of the month we meet in the Chapel at noon for a potluck style luncheon. Each person brings a main dish, salad, or dessert that serves 8-10 people. Sign up the Sunday prior or call the church office. ToursOnce a month, we take a day tour to places within a few hours of Portland (we take longer trips once every year). Tours are advertised in the monthly newsletter well in advance and sign-ups are through the church office. Our group has taken an Eastern Oregon Historical Tour, visited Mt. St. Helens, picnicked at the coast, toured the Tillamook Cheese Factory, and traveled to Leavenworth. Jubilee Choir
